I SlIn at The Arches. 10.30pm—3am. £7. World famous DJ and production duo Stuart and Orde together providing the best in deep electronic dance. Considered to be by far the best of its type in Scotland. if not the whole country. Continues to win awards from all quarters.

I Timeless at The Sub Club. Ilpm—4am. £5. 13 Sept and monthly. New jungle night produced in association with Timeless Records (London). Guest DJs Doc Scott and Lee from London are joined by Colin Gate and KMC. Lee. according to people in the know. is a better version of Bukem.

I Transmission at Betty‘s Mayonnaise. 10.30pm-3am. £4 (£2.50). New night from Tam Coyle (Dream Sequence) playing a danced-up. student-orientated

set.

I Arena 10.30pm-3.30am. £7. Adrian Rennie has now agreed a DJ partnership with Baskar Dondana (Wet Without A Brolly) moving the Arena music policy away from deeper trance to more bouncy jazzy techno. calling themselves the Pulse DJs. 7 Sept. hard house/techno DJ Mrs Woods joins them.

Madame Friction. known for her versatile style of house and techno. is resident at Funny Skin in Southend and has toured with The Prodigy as their resident warm-up DJ.

I Stasis at R.G.‘s. 8pm—midnight. Free. DJ Tosh with deep house and garage for the Saturday warm up session. Pre-club. I Sub Club 10.30pm—5am. £8. On the cusp of celebrating ten years of quality Subby clubbing Harri and Domenic continue to provide one of the few top original house nigth in Glasgow. 7 Sept. the Subbie is one of the few venues chosen to take part in Channel 4‘s ‘Techno Trip‘. a weekend celebrating club culture. Giant TV screens will show the programme and internet terminals will be set up so people in the club can interact with the broadcast live. Harri is in Belgium that night. so Twitch (Pure) will be taking over. See panel. The Sub Club have also recently set up their own lavish sixteen-page web site.
