I Arena l().30pm—3.3()am. £7. Adrian Rennie has now agreed a DJ partnership with Baskar Dondana (Wet Withotn a Brolly) moving the Arena music policy away from deeper trance to more bouncy jazzy techno. The duo will be known as the Pulse DJs.

The Arches is to replace its monthly Cream events with’a new night of live entertainment and dance music. Next weekend’s event (Sat 27 Sept) goes ahead as planned. while'the venue will continue to feature SLAM, Love Boutique. Cool Lemon and regular nights with Pure and Colours.

‘Cream has sat a bit uneasilywith the- rest of the udergound, alternative nature of the Arches programme,' says Andy Arnold, spokesperson for The Arches. ‘It's been great fun having. Cream here but it was always meant to be a one-off. I’m sure Cream will have - plenty of other venues in Glasgow keen to accommodate them." 1 1 v '
