Superdeluxe formed in Seattle two years ago and as their debut LP Famous demonstrates they have more in common with the power-pop of The Lemonheads and Gigolo Aunts than they do with the grunge sons of their city. Support from local band Stylophone who. despite their name are not some Bis-style toy keyboard enthusiasts but make mature pop whimsy along the same lines as The Lightning Seeds. They currently have a debut 7in ‘She's Just \Vaiting'l‘On My ()wn'.
