CELINE DION is not what you’d call an idler. No sooner has the glamorous French-Canadian chanteuse rocketed into the charts with her latest studio album Falling Into You than she’s back on Ia route tor another tour, with a new live album in tow (recorded in Paris, and titled - as you might expect Geline Dion live In Paris) and a new single, ‘All By Myselt’ due out next tortnlght. What you might call a tour de lorce.

KEITH HABING is not often associated with vodka. though the New York-based pop artist did attribute his distinctive style partly to LSD. Whatever the influence. both he and Andy Warhol completed commissions for the Swedish brand Absolut before their respective demises. The Absolut Collection. which ‘stretches the boundaries between advertising and art' began when Warhol painted that distinctive bottle in W85. and continued in l986 with Haring's contribution. It now boasts over (300 pieces. seven of which (including one by Scotland‘s Turner-nominated Douglas Gordon) can be seen in Edinburgh for the first time this fortnight. In addition. there are new Absolut commissions from three young Scottish artists .— Catriona Grant. Gary Rough and David Shrigley which are displayed alongside some of their other works.
