In its heyday, cavernous basement venue The Vaults, in Edinburgh’s lliddrie Street, played an extremely important role in the city’s club scene. llow, alter months of rumour, speculation and alleged court cases, it’s back. Saturday 30 November sees glam house night Tease hosting the long awaited re-opening party.

rather than just another club night.’ Preston and his co-promoter Kerrith Brown are ambitious, but realistic about the venue’s limitations.
