You should have a background/training in Theatre Arts with experience in administration procedures and be able to demonstrate good skills and safe practice in lighting and sound techniques.

You will have good communication skills

and be prepared to work with a wide range of mixed ability trainees. Previous training/teaching experience

Edinburgh lntemational Science Festival is looking to recruit and train enthusiastic peOpIe to perform science shows and run science-based workshops in schools during February/March and during the Festival in March/April 1997. There are also some opportunities for work throughout the rest of the year. You need not be a scientist but should be interested in the public understanding of science, be a quick learner and maybe a little zany!
