the Coppola/Bum saga has Pacino's Michael Corleone struggling to keep the peace both within the family and throughout his Malia contacts. In an bid for peace of mind and stability. he turns to the Church and away from organised crime. but the demons of his past are not so easily left behind. l’ainted on the same broad canvas as its two prequels. this is a lavish and beautifully played gangster drama with a true note of tragedy. On paper. it all sounds very manufactured. with two stars who aren't exactly iii the premiere league. General release.

Cruise is perfect as sports agent Maguire. who suddenly finds himself out of a job when he writes a Mission Statement calling for his colleagues to rediscover the sincerity of their business. Willi only one client on his books (Gooding) and the loyal Dorothy (Yellweger) for affection and support. he soldiers on and of course. becomes a better person for it all.
