Looking At Far East Sat 31 May/Sun 1 Jun. 8pm. £6 (£3). Japanese duo Op Ekleket make their second visit to the UK with a show that presents their country‘s customs as seen through the eyes of a Westerner. Slapstick. kabuki. cabaret and

mime combine with tea ceremonies. hamburgers and strange gadgets to create a show that's full of surprises.

Gekidan Kaitaisha Sat 7/Sun 8 Jun. 8pm. £6 (£3). The second of two Japanese performances at the CCA comes from this Tokyo-based company. whose name translates as ‘Theatre Of Destruction‘. Utilising music. dance. film and installation. the show portrays a barren region inhabited by those alienated by Japanese society.
