Imperial Cancer's annual tour of the nation with Race For Life makes a couple of stops up here this fortnight. Patrons Sarah Greene and Mike Smith (above) launched 1997's search for funds with £1m sitting as the target. Thirty-two cities and towns across the UK are getting in on the act this year, aiming to help the 140,000 women who will be diagnosed with cancer this year, so if you want to participate, give the hotline number a call. The tour makes its way to Dundee and Aberdeen later this month.
