We are looking for a lively and committed person to assist with the development and delivery of an innovative and exciting programme to young people in Baberton, Juniper Green, Currie and Balerno. We are particularly interested in a person with experience in the arts and somebody who is keen to be involved in the delivery of youth work in new ways. While a relevant qualification may be an advantage, we are more interested in finding somebody with their own ideas, the ability to bring out ideas in others, and with skills in working with and involving young people in a variety of settings.

The post is offered initially until the end of March 1998 at which time it will be renewable, subject to the successful

involvement of the Project Worker and the availability of funds.

CASUAL BAR STAFF Required to work 4 shifts a week including a mid- week matinee. Previous bar experience desirable.

USHERING STAFF Required to work at least 3 shifts a week including a mid-week matinee.

FULL-TIME RECEPTIONIST To operate the switchboard, answer incoming calls efficiently, deal with enquiries and greet all visitors. All the above positions require staff to be of smart appearance and to have a customer focussed approach.

CLEANER 30 hours per week. Must be able to work well as part of a small team.

UNIVERSITY OF STIRLING

FILM AND MEDIA STUDIES TEACHING FELLOW

The post is available from September 1997 in the Department of Film and Media Studies, a leading international centre of research and teaching. The person appointed will teach audio and radio production, although experience of video production would be useful. It is likely that the successful candidate will have proven teaching skills in an academic environment.
