Very likely the youngest professional string trio of its kind in the world. this unique. American teenage group will perform a variety of classical and popular music. that will appeal to all ages. The members of The Lied Trio (pronounced "Iced. " German for song) have grown musically together over the past five years as a chamber ensemble since the age of nine when they were brought together by Juilliard violinist. Liesel Soley. after just one year of instruction on their instruments. Their style blends enthusiasm with a musicality and stage presence that belies their youth. The Lied Trio is in

They recently shot a music video featuring Paul McCartney's “lileanor Rigby" in heautiful St. l’ctersburg. Florida. where they received wide newspaper and TV publicity leading up to their preview performance for the Festival Fringe in June. A work for string trio. “Airin on the A String." has been written for The Lied Trio by award winning American composer Rob Newell. For the Edinburgh Festival Fringe. The Lied Trio will perform pieces by a wide range of composers from Beethoven and Schubert. Bernstein. (iershwin. the contemporary Dohnanyi. to the ever popular l.ennon-Mc('artney works. With surpri/ingly authentic adaptation from rock band to violin. viola and cello. The program will even include a “tango” by Ame ric a n composer Sigmund Romberg.
