Now in its tenth year, the Edinburgh International Science Festival has had plenty of practice at making science fun for kids. This year’s line-up features the Friendly Forces Show. where you can spin on a giant ball-bearing or learn about gravity on a see-saw. With bizarrely titled shows and workshops such as Dr Bunhead’s Magical Chemistry Cookbook, Exploding Custard. the Back In Time Bus and Crazy Cardboard, the festival is the perfect way to introduce the little ones to the wonders of science.
