COMMUNICATIONS & MARKETING OFFICER

One Year Fixed Term Renewable Contract SALARY (£13,564) per annum

Require an enthusiastic, committed self-starter to lead our communications department. This new position will involve the technical management of publications and publicity material for CCUSA. The postholder will oversee staff and work closely with the elected student officers. They will provide support and training to other departments and committees in the development and implementation of CCUSA's marketing strategy. In addition you will be expected to generate Sponsorship and Advertising revenue. You must have proven experience of working in communications and marketing and have excellent DTI’ skills. You must have a minimum of 2 years experience of the most recent versions of QuarkXpress (4.0), l’hotoshop and l’agemaker. Ideally you should be educated to degree standard.

Initially a fixed term contract of 12 months will apply. If successful the position may be extended by a further 12 months and eventually may become a permanent position.
