I Hi Karate at the Glasgow School of Art (upstairs). l()pm—2.3()am. Free. The Hi Karate duo of Neil McMillan and Andrew Divine kick tip the funky break beats to a large and loyal crowd. This is one that is really jumping tonight.

I Impact at The Arches. l().3()pm—3am. £3. l4 May only. ()ne-off night as part of the FuncT ()8 festival. Hosted by Glasgow experimental music/art collective The Cyber Jazz Division. it combinesjungle. jazz and video. Tonight sees the collaboration between contemporary jazz group D.S. Murray Quartet. Ground Control (dub/hip hop/drum ‘n' bass). lid Higgins who worked with Weatherall and ()ne Dove. plus cyber art talents Videomancer.

I Pusher 13 at The l3th Note (ground floor). I lpm--3am. £2. Weekly night from Jilkes and Hatch of Knucklehead (Art School. Sats) giving tip electro funk beats to a crowd following on from their Variety pub gig. Getting pretty busy down there on a Thursday night.

I Slide at The Bedsit. (rpm-lam. Free. liarly -nighter to ease you into the weekend with board games. Playstations. pool and a catholic music policy. Pre- club.

I Sly at Trash. llpm—3ani. £4 (£3). The guys who ran the monthly events at the Tunnel. combining house with outrageous behaviour start up this new weekly night offering more of the same. Neil and Frog in the main room for big anthems and cheesy nonsense plus Disco Dan in Room Two. Dress up in some sort of sexy/glammy gear and you get in free. Drinks promos.
