NEW CLUB Buckaroo Boudoir

look into the light: Buckaroo Boudoir this Festival

With Delta Video brought in to provide the visuals. Theatre Workshop's late-night Festival venture is certainly worth a look. This interesting yet decidedly chilled event is Buckaroo Boudoir, a mixed media production/club night/games night/cafe which is aimed at the 'post-club rave people'.

'lt‘s entertainment, providing something for those who don't want to get hot and sweaty on a dance floor,’ says Theatre Workshop's Jane Molyneux. The result is a grown up's playground, with games from your childhood to games from your future - Cluedo and Buckaroo meet brand new games on the Internet, which can be played on-line with people across the world.

The night is aimed at twenty—thirtysomethings already drawn towards cafe society. A 'video artist' will act like a DJ. sorting through short films, movie clips. TV jingles and adverts - but will look to the audience for his cues. It's up to each individual to sit. stay, leave or talk their way through the night. Says Ian Ferguson of Delta Video, 'It will be very cult. Very underground. It will be very experimental art.’ (Simone Baird)
