'I was suprised I liked it,’ admits Smith. 'It has come out as a pop song but works really well. In the end Sharleen's shown me all sorts of things which can be done.‘
’It's strange,’ ponders Hendrickse. ‘You've got it in your head this is how your track sounds - and then it sounds completely different.‘
The duo are currently working with vocalist Colin Farmer on two tracks due for release by the end of the year, and plan to continue their remixing work. If the Wu- Tang Clan can do it, so can The Soul Renegades. (Simone Baird)
