I Blood at The Sub Club. llpm—3ain. £4 (£3). Weekly from 4 March. New night that celebrates the bright new talent in the city with residents DJ Q and Laurence Hughes. DJ 0 is best known for his outstanding debut album Face The Music out at the beginning of last year. and Laurence Hughes works in underground dance shop Bomba. Both played regularly at The Arches Un-cut night in a fazed disco house style.

I Blowfly X-rated at The Apartment. ll.30pm—3am. £3. DJ Tchico with his superior brand of R&B. swing and funk. I Blowpop Tour at g2. l lpm—3am. £5. 4 March only. John Stapleton (of the extraordinary Dope On Plastic series) touches down in Glasgow to push his own label Blowpop. joined by Portishead‘s official DJ Andy Smith who rocked the OM last year at the longest day party. To get a good idea of what the night‘s going to be like. check out the recently released Dupe ()ii Plastic 6. on which Stapleton mixes tip the finest hip hop. best of its type in Scotland. This top night comes to an end on 25 Feb to be replaced by Blood. As a parting shot they welcome down reigning World DMC Mixing Champion DJ Craze and reigning ITF Mixing Champion DJ Developer 25 Feb (£6). When you think that the awesome Scratch Perverts came second in the ITF Championships you‘ll realise just how brutally good DJ Developer is. And Craze? Jeez!
