I Blue Basement at Blue Basement (Bacchus Basement). (rpm—lam. Free. New night from (Nice Promotions providing a platform for the creative collective of DJs and funky musicians on an altogether iuicy kind of vibe. Very freestyle and a perfect chill session. Also on Sundays.

I B.Noty at Babaza. opm—3aiii. £4 (£2.50); free before l lpm. Matt Morton with house and disco at this good-time. reasonably dressy Thursday night.

I Brel at Brel. 8.30—1 lpm. Free. Nimbus DJs and Norse Ned go eclectic with soul and funk. Pre-cltib.

I Budda at Budda. Spin—midnight. Free. Nick Gemmil with a broad mix of credible dance. from house to drum 8: bass and hip hop. Pie-club.

I Cheeze at Strathclyde University Students Union (Barony Bar. Dark Room and Level 8). 8pm—3am. Free (open to students and four guests). DJs Mark. lain and Duffy with a proudly tacky and cheesy night of good time party tunes.

I Cop at Archaos. llpm—3am. £4 (£3). Immense student night (possibly the busiest in Scotland) with DJ Vance and CJ up in the main room playing contemporary club tunes to a young. glammy bunch while Tam "The Fuzz' Coyle does his indie/pop/kitsch stuff in Betty’s Mayonnaise.
