Easily one of the best Chicago house DJs in the world, he is adored by so many we don’t know where to start. His oh-so-funky, jamming house sounds will have the roof off, mark our words. Don't forget that most pubs, bars and clubs in Edinburgh have late licenses until the first week in

September; pubs/bars can stay open until 3am, clubs until Sam. You should note, however, that it is descretionary on the part of the promoter on the night.

Weekly. A new night down Broughton way for those that are into the more ‘come back to mine’ chilled vibes that a Sunday evening should really otter. DJs D and Billy will be playing deep house, garage, Latin, jazz and a wee bit of disco house for those in the know.

A great opportunity for folk to sample his jazz cooking behind the decks. What will start as a Sunday recovery sesh will progress with the best into a pre-club warm up with soul, jazz and Afro-centric Latin funk.

I Taste at The Honeycomb. 11pm-3am. £10 (£6). Weekly. If you’re looking to experience the best that clubbing in the capital has to offer, you should shimmy your way on down to Taste. Running for five years now, this club attracts the friendliest bunch of mental hedonists you ever did see (that’s a compliment). The main room residents Fisher & Price mix up a blend of garage and uplifting house moving to the manic as the night grinds or. while the back is a haven for garage and US house buffs.

I Trans Scotland Express at Studio 24. 10.30pm—5am. £5. Underword give the Studios the ‘treatment’ tonight. Kovac (deep electronic music with soul, they call it) and Uter (post-rock, apparently) play live tonight with support from DJs Felix (one of the best nu skool DJs we’ve heard), Murf (everyone’s fave) and .
