New night where it’s the music that counts, with residents Ian Thomson and David Gilmore battling it out between each other playing house, garage and trance. They say it’s a night for serious music heads, and the extra serious ones can take part in their showcase of young DJ talent between 8-11pm. Call the club for details of how to have a go.

I The Big Chill at The Arches. 9pm—3am. £12 (£10). 30 Sep only. The Big Chill, described by Mixmag as ‘the greatest chill-out club in the cosmos’, ﬂoats into Scotland for the ﬁrst time ever. The massive night features Fila Brazilia from Pork (live), Instrumental, a string sextet doing dance covers, Global Communications/Cosmos’ Tom Middleton, Mr Scruff (Scratch Perverts), and Big Chill head honcho Pete Lawrence. Coldcut’s visual arm Hexstatic and VJ Glimpse give the visuals, plus contemporary dance from Kirsty Little and there’s even a web cafe too. Turn up, sit down, chill out.
