Gaia The refurb has to be seen to be believed - it is absolutely gorgeous, ’specially considered what it looked like before. Gaia, Seven nights.

Manga We’ve said it so often it's almost a cliche: an absolutely essential monster night from Manga. But seriously, would you miss Ed Rush doing his dark and dangerous drum & bass thing? We thought not. La Belle Ange/e, Fri 8 Oct.

Radio Babylon With extra special guest Andy Smith along for a cruisey, hip hop and funk ride, tonight is unmissable. The Bongo Club, Fri 8 Oct. Big Beat The night that puts all the others in the shade, Big Beat's sixth birthday. While that in itself is cool, they also have The Blackbyrds along, in real life, on the stage, can you believe it? See preview. Cafe Graffiti, Sat 9 Oct. Barry Cabanas If you've been living in a cave for the past year and have missed the phenomena of this club, cast your eyes over our panel and you should get their gist of how deep their depravity runs. See panel. Eden, Fri 15 Oct. Sublime When the promoters of a club get on the phone and go all supersonic-voice, the night in question might just be a little out of the ordinary, so this issue's flash bang wollop award goes to The Advent playing live on The Potterrow soundsystem. The Potterrow, Fri 75 Oct.

Ultragroove A brand new night which sees old skool mates Gareth and Colin do the house thing at La Belle once more. 'Bout time. La Belle Ange/e, Fri 15 Oct.

Taste As if Fisher & Price’s antics weren’t enough, they've invited Jon of the pretty happy birds along for a guest spot. His sets always rock, tonight will be no exception. Start your week well. Wilkie House, Sun 77 Oct.

Motherfunk A special one-off to celebrate their third birthday and they've invited Gilles Peterson along to blow out the candles. Miss this and you're stupid. The Venue, Thu 21 Oct.
