Tacita Dean - The Sea, With A Ship; Afterwards An Island Until Sun 7 Nov. Shortlisted for the Turner Prize in 1998 and best known for her 16mm films, Tacita Dean creates large format, chalk on blackboard drawings inspired by Shakespeare’s The Tempest. Her short film entitled ‘The Structure Of lce’ (1997) is screened at selected times.
Olafur Eliasson - Your Position Surrounded And Your Surroundings Positioned Until Sun 7 Nov. Icelandic artist Olafur Eliasson creates a specially commissioned installation for the gallery, using light and simple materials inspired by man’s perceptions of the natural environment.

'It's very painful in this play. As a society, we don't like to see children upset and we don't like to get upset in front of them. If someone's died. children very quickly get the message that you shouldn't talk about that person, that you have to shut up about death. But why would they not be fascinated by death? It's a bit of magic - being and not being.’
Greg Banks' production is back in Scotland after a rapturoust received visit in 1998 when it went under the title Tir Na N-Og (the Irish name for a mythical land of eternal youth). Fresh from the Dublin Theatre Festival and en route to New York, it is returning to enchant anyone over the age of eight with the story of a brother and sister who befriend a beautiful horse before making an epic trek across Ireland with the police in hot pursuit. The horse. it transpires, is the mother in spirit form; the adventure, a way to
