EATING 8r DRINKING GUIDE EDITOR

We are looking for an experienced Editor to take charge of The List’s Eating & Drinking Guide 2000. This will be the 7th edition of the respected and best-selling guide to over 700 restaurants, bistros, cafes and bars in Edinburgh and Glasgow.

The Editor will be responsible for planning, commissioning and managing the work of a team of researchers and reviewers, obtaining photographs, sub-editing copy, and helping our production department to prepare finished pages for the printers.

The Editor will be appointed to work on a part-time freelance basis for four months from December 99 to March 00.

Applicants should have previous experience of reviewing restaurants or writing on food/cookery and should be able to demonstrate good administrative and editorial skills.

Arts Development Worker (Ref: ADW1)

Starting salary £17,322 plus 7.5% irregular hours. Opportunity to have a key role in managing and develop- ing a new community music facility, to assist local musi- cians and to organise training, events and music projects. Min 3 yrs experience.

Studio/Sound Engineer (Ref: SSE2)
