The Arches is Scotland's leading independent arts venue providing a busy year round programme of theatre, live music, late night clubs and festivals. Now undergoing a £4m refurbishment with a new entrance and box office, basement workshops and new cafeobar opening in September, we are now looking to expand our programming team with two new posts.

Theatre Programmer

To work together with the Artistic Director to co- ordinate the programme of visiting theatre companies and develop new theatre projects.

Arts Programmer

To initiate and programme a range of dynamic and new arts projects and explore creative opportunities within the newly developed spaces in The Arches.

For both posts we are looking for people with relevant experience, creative ideas and the practical skills to realise them. Closing Date : Friday 9th June

In September we will have a new main entrance on Argyle Street, basement workshops and a stunning new cafe bar designed by One Foot Taller and Timorous Beasties. Open for customers during the day and evening, the cafe bar will be an exciting new addition to the venue.

We are now looking to appoint a talented and imaginative Head Chef to run the kitchen. As well as having relevant experience, we want someone with ideas, energy and high standards.
