It’s all very well featuring a summer bike special, but what if you don’t have a bike? Or perhaps we’ve inspired you to rake around in your parents’ shed and pull out your old Chopper. Enough said.
These days, image is everything and that’s why The List have two, state-of-the-art Gary Fisher mountain bikes to be won. Each Mamba mountain bike with front suspension comes courtesy of Red Bull Mountain Mayhem and was designed by the Godfather of mountain biking, Gary Fisher. With 21 gears, powerful brakes and durable wheel sets, each bike guarantees miles of easy, low maintenance riding.
The Red Bull Mountain Mayhem event takes place on 24 & 25 June. Over 2000 amateur and professional riders will take part in the event held in Birmingham. Riders will pedal non-stop for an entire day and night for a share of the biggest prize in European mountain biking, £15,000 in cash.
Before the pound signs start to flash in front of your eyes, the race is already over subscribed for this year. Plenty of time to train for next year though.
We also have twelve cases of Red Bull and twenty cycle maps for Glasgow and Edinburgh, kindly donated by Spokes and Cycle City Guides, to give away as runner-up prizes.
