This one is aimed squarely at those after a spot of detoxification, since the venue is a non- smoking tea shop that looks like an opium den. The tunes, courtesy of a huge number of local DJs, are drawn from every genre under the sun as long as they’re laid-back. Drink obscure teas, play chess, give your body a rest.

I Liquid Gold at Q. 5pm—lam. Free. Weekly. The official pre-club for Babaza’s ever-popular hedonism fest, Liquid Cool, with Ian Thompson warming up the regulars with a diverse range of soul-funk sounds from Lauryn Hill to Stevie Wonder. Quite why it’s named after a brand of poppers is anyone’s guess.

I The Longest Day at The Cut De Sac. Noon—1am. Free. 25 Jun only. A whole day devoted to the sounds of Glasgow as The Cul Dc Sac and The Sub Club get together for this West End Festival.
