Year of the Artist Caravan Project £3,000 fee for 6 month period

The artist will involve local communities and individuals via a workshop programme and will develop his/her own work in progress in the context of the residency. The artist will work for 20 hours per week, of which 16 hours should be spent ‘on site' within the caravan. The period of residency is from 2 October 2000 to 23 February 2001.

Experience of leading workshops for children and community groups and a driving licence are essential. Rehab excepted. Ref: NLC/CS/CR/042

Students will learn how to use state of the art recording and editing technology to produce fast moving radio inserts which will be broadcast on local radio stations across Britain.

You will review shows and interview performers, directors,

behind the scenes staff and people on the street; with the world’s biggest art festival as a backdrop.

The course runs from 5th - I 1th August 2000.
