Harem The activities of the unutterably vile Brian Souter have provoked something of a cashflow problem for the HIV and AIDS outreach and education providers PHACE West and Networks, so get down to this fundraising party with a wad of cash and your dancing shoes. Freelance Science This is the last bout of Science from Stuart and Orde (pictured) before Alaska shuts its doors for a while. That's the bad news. The good news is that all those rumours that have been flying about are true. We can now confirm that, when the venue re-opens in early Sep, the Slam crew will be taking control of all music programming at the club. This means that Relief is set to shift to the Friday night slot, with the rest of the week reserved for a host of Slam-related talent. Do we really need to point out that this is the most exciting thing to happen in Glasgow Clubland, like, ever? Alaska, Sat 5 Aug.
