PR and Marketing Assistant

We are seeking a lively and energetic person to provide back up for the PR and Marketing Manager. Duties will include: delivering copy and graphic requirements for all printed promotional material; coordinating the programme of advertising; assisting with management of private views and special events; liaising with other premier visitor attractions and tourist boards; and providing administrative and clerical support.

A graduate, you will have experience of working in a marketing environment. You will have excellent communication, administrative and writing skills, will be numerate and computer literate and able to work to tight deadlines. Familiarity with museums, arts and cultural issues will be helpful.

The Tolbooth in the heart of Stirling’s Old Town is undergoing a stunning transformation to create Scotland's newest live music venue and resource centre for the arts in the Stirling area. The Tolbooth will be the base for Stirling Council's arts development, events and training programmes.

We are recruiting for the key post of

Operations Manager

£22,083 - £26,769

Working closely with the Artistic Director. you will be responsible for the operational management of the Tolbooth. This includes technical management of the Tolbooth programme, it's outreach activity and the Council's outdoor events programme.

It also includes responsibility for the general operation and maintenance of the building and it's equipment in compliance with statutory and legal requirements.

In addition, you will be responsible for financial planning, reporting and budget monitoring and you will be experienced in the preparation of accounts. You will ensure the provision of a comprehensive clerical and admin. service for the Tolbooth, as well as manage the box office and an arts and events information service for the public. You will also be responsible for the catering and merchandising features of the Tolbooth.
