Not content with launching the careers of the coolest anamatronic frogs ever seen on TV, Budweiser are flexing their promotional muscles to bring an eclectic evening of movies and music to Edinburgh audiences later this month. James Smart gets the lowdown.

Movies and music. Tell me more . .. Well, you know what it’s like, you see a great movie and then you get the urge to go dancing. Don't you?

No, but let’s say that I did Fine, should you get the urge to see a great movie and then shake your booty to the best grooves courtesy of Beat 106's finest jocks, ’The Bigger Picture’ is for you. First off, in terms of movies they've got the cut-up comic carnage of Pulp Fiction on Fri 29 Sep while Sat 30 Sep features classic crime thriller LA Confidential. As for booty shaking, this is left in the capable hands of the boys at Beat 106.

And which popular 015 from the

popular station, specifically?

Specifically, Trevor Reilly on the Fri and

Stevie Kerr (pictured) on the Sat, both

spinning a selection of house tunes

‘till 2am.

I hope they know what they're

doing Easy. While this combination of

two radically different leisure activities

might seem a little dangerous, Kerr is

determined in his quest to get the

popcorn gorged hordes off their arses

and into the groove. 'The event is

. something unusual', he says. ’lt'll be a

f case of taking the records along and

j seeing what's going on. You can’t just

3 play the records you want to play.

§ You’ve got to make people enjoy

i themselves.’
