Mountain music for sale
The fact that NVA's The Path doesn't figure in our Readers' Poll this issue (see page 24) surely has more to do with the inability to categorise it than anything else. It was part Highland ramble, part art installation, part magical mystery tour and was quite unlike anything before or since. A night-time walk up a secret mountain in Glen Lyon, the event featured Tibetan Shirpas. Portuguese drummers and stunning lighting effects. Now as a memento of the occasion, NVA has produced two CDs (Ani Choying Drolma, Buddhist Chants and the Tibetan Singing Bowl Orchestra) as well as a set of limited edition prints. The (05 are £12 each (plus 60p p&p) or £20 for two (plus £1 p&p), a set of 8in by 8in prints is £30 (plus 60p p&p) and a set of 12in by 12in prints is £50 (plus 60p p&p).
