The company also tours profesaonal productions with an integrated physrcally disabled and able-bodied cast and crew to mainstream theatre venues throughout Scotland. highlighting positive role models of professionals with a disability. Presently Birds of Paradise are undergoing an exciting period of redevelopment in every aspect of the company.

We are now seeking to develop the skills of our Board. and are looking for Theatre Directors/Practitioners. Accountants. Lawyers and people working in the field of Disability or Equal Opportunities. who think they would be interested in supponing the company as a Board representative.

Carer Relief Workers are required to work in North Iiast Iidinburgh offering support to carers of older people by relieving them of their caring responsibilities in their homes or by making use of Jewel House Day (‘are and Resource Centre. Applicants should have a caring disposition and have the ability to respond to carers in times of crisis. The service will operate between 5.()()pm—l().()()pm weekdays and ‘).()()am—10.00pm weekends and the hours of duty will be negotiable/self ernployable. Previous experience is desirable.
