£25,241 - £26,801 Ref No. 148.13 Established as part of the Scottish Arts Council’s Creative links programme, this new post offers the opportunity to work in collaboration with existing services to establish a vibrant, innovative and strategic arts education vision and to develop and implement an achievable and sustainable arts education strategy for West Lothian Council.

Working as part of Arts and Cultural Services based in Craigsfarm Campus, Livingston you will have a degree or equivalent in an arts related field and a qualification or experience in an education related field. You will also have extensive experience of leading and organising high profile local, regional or national projects and initiatives. Extensive knowledge of arts and education related policy development is also essential.

A full current driving licence is essential as this post involves travel throughout the area of the Council.

Working as part of the Arts & Cultural Services you will develop opportunities in dance for children and young people in West Lothian through a programme of classes, workshops. performances and

special projects.

You should be suitably qualified and experienced Dance Artists who combine hands-on teaching ability

with first class administrative and project management skills.

A full current driving licence is essential and a willingness to work flexible hours including evenings and

weekends are essential.

To provide CAD draughting support for Scottish Opera's scenic construction workshop. Applicants should be able to demonstrate CAD draughting ability (Autocad 2000/2002) to

City and Guilds level. A working knowledge of theatrical construction techniques would be an advantage but is not essential.
