Time something we never seem to have enough of. something that flies by. something that captures a moment. Definitions are endless. but an exploration in time is how composer John McLeod describes his latest work. A Moment in Time. for violin. clarinet. cello and piano. Just about to receive its world premiere performances by The Hebrides Ensemble. the work was in the process of composition on 1 1 September and McLeod feels that the huge emotional response to this has inevitably influenced much of the music.
