The List has a vacancy for a production assistant and typesetter for our Edinburgh office. We are looking for someone with excellent keyboard skills. an eye for detail and a good working knowledge of QuarkXpress. Working to tight deadlines. being thorough. accurate and efficient are essential qualities. Knowledge of Illustrator. FreeHand and Photoshop would be an advantage.

This is a full time post. initially for a four month period to cover our busiest months. but with the possibility to extend with reduced hours thereafter. Flexibility is required with occasional Saturday or evening work to help at busy periods. The job will involve varied responsibili- ties helping with other aspects of the magazine as well as production work. Salary according to experience.

You will head an exciting and innovative Social Inclusion Project to tackle unemployment amongst adults. We are looking for an experienced project manager, with a drama background, to work with our arts officers in the planning and implementation of this project. You will deliver key aspects of the project, and act as project co-ordinator. Group facilitation skills and an understanding of the potential of drama in social inclusion will be beneficial. An understanding of leadership, budget management, the ability to motivate and manage work by others will be vital. Due to the nature of this post a driving licence is essential.

Drama Development

Worker (Temporary) £16,673 - £18,296 EA/ 2.1/30

You will have a professional attitude and you may be a recent graduate or starting out on a community drama career. You should have at least two years experience of working on drama projects within the community, and be able to demonstrate an understanding of inspiring and motivating others using drama. You will support the work of the Drama Development Officer and will be responsible for delivering several aspects of the project. Group facilitation skills and understanding of the role and potential of drama in skill building is vital.
