Kris Keegan and Ian Thompson playing top-notch vocal garage and house to a club packed with hyper- hedonistic twentysomething revellers. all of whom seem to have forgotten that they have work in the morning. If quality tunes and glamorous antics are your bag. Sun at Babaza is unmissable.

I Post: Live at the Glasgow School of Art. 10.30pm-2am. £6 (£4). 9 Jun only. Boasting an ‘inner city feel' and ‘live graffiti artists’. Post is a cutting edge collective with the intention of shaking you out of your complacency and boredom.

I Sunday Best at Shack. 10.30pm—3.30am. £5 (£3). Weekly. Jim Da Best plays pop. dance and R&B. Over the next few weeks there'll be theme nights. too. with a foam party and also Skool Disco. Have fun. children.

I Sunday Surgery at Cube.

1 lpm—3am. £5 (£3). Weekly. Cameron Craig dispenses some salve for your soul in this diverting winder-downer with a medical theme.

I Hard Wired at Barfly (formerly the 13th .\'ote Club). 9pm-3am. Free. Weekly. A night so rockin' it will have Kurt wishing he hadn‘t been quite so rash. llappily avoiding 35-year-olds in shorts with a sketchy knowledge of rap. (no nu metal) and l-'()real abusing poodlers. Hard Wired will play tunes from left of the middle big hitters such as Weezer. Foo Fighters. Red Hot Chili Peppers and Hundred Reasons in the downstairs area. I Transistor at the Polo Lounge.

I Salsa Vida at Havana. £4. Weekly. Feel the rhythm. This is a relaxed and friendly salsa class (with teacher Andy Baird) for those wishing to dip their toes in the salsa water.

Scotland's first ever dedicated bhangra residency. with Tigerstyle and Harri ripping it up with a selection of bhangra. soul. hip hop and garage. ()n this night. the Panjabi Hit Squad are promoting their album The Streets with a mighty DJ set. Fine.

DJ ()na (aka Amanda from Bis) and DJ Mingo-go. take over the musical selection for the foreseeable future while 803 takes a break to concentrate on other things. Injecting some much needed oestrogen into the world of DJing and playing some damn fine electro mixed into a randomly selected soundscape.
