VOLUNTEER EXTRAS NEEDED

We are looking for people to take part as extras in the R0 Theatre's powerful production of Macbeth at the Royal Lyceum Theatre. Rehearsal in the evening 19 August and performances 20, 21 & 22 August 7.30pm. Anyone of any age can apply.

We also need slim men to play the citizens in Canadian Opera's spectacular production of Oedipus Rex with Symphony of Psalms. Rehearsals take place from 17 - 29 August (weekend days and weekday evenings) with performances 29 - 31 August, 7.30pm at The Edinburgh Playhouse. Applicants should be over the age of 16.

All of these non speaking roles are undertaken on a voluntary basis.

CARING FOR CARERS IN NORTHEAST EDINBURGH CITY COUNCIL SOCIAL WORK DEPARTMENT

CARER RELIEF WORKERS. £5.65 PER HOUR.

Carer Relief Workers are required to work in North East Edinburgh offering support to carers of older people by relieving them of their caring responsibilities in their homes or by making use of Jewel House Day Care and Resource Centre.

Applicants should have a caring disposition and have the ability to respond to carers in times of crisis.

The service will operate between 5.00pm—10.00pm weekdays and 9.003m—10.00pm weekends and the hours of duty will be negotiable/self employable. Previous experience is desirable.
