Their dour demeanour and predilection for antique navy uniforms and taxidermy shouldn't detract from the fact that that British Sea Power's new single ‘Childhood Memories' is a modest work of emotive genius. On record. hearing flashes of the Psychedelic Furs. Billy Childish. early Pulp and Talking Heads are just the half of it; live is where they really deliver.
