SWEARING AT MOTORISTS

A band with a name this good couldn’t really be bad and they prove that a

lone guitarist and drummer doesn’t have to be the poor, drunk cousins of the White Stripes. At the heart of this duo are Dave Doughman’s effecting vocals, best heard live or on their This Flag Signals Goodbye album. They are the musical equivalent of one of those really plaintive, sweet American indie movies you see at the GFT or the Cameo. (Mark Robertson)
