We require an experienced and enthusiastic events professional to continue the development of a varied and innovative events program for the students of Glasgow. Applicants must have experience of programming. budgetary control and supervisory management. Strong organisational skills are essential and the candidate should be computer literate, committed to the development of the entertainment at the QMlI and comfortable with working closer with student otlicers. Working unsocial hours during academic terms will be necessary and therefore a flexible, approach to work and the ability to meet deadlines are essential.

To coordinate the development of a national website and database for the Crafts in Scotland, through establishing a Highlands and Islands pilot with H|~Arts, setting up an initial national website, and preparing tender documents for a full national facility. The development is being undertaken in association with the Crafts Department of the Scottish Arts Council, and Highlands and Islands Enterprise.

The successful candidate will have proven professional experience of project management and a good grasp of IT skills.

The appointment is a fulltime contract for one year, at a salary of £20,237
