The Operations Officer is a crucial member of the senior management team of the arts service and must have Technical and Events Management skills as well as a knowledge of Facilities Management. You are responsible for the physical and technical rescurces of the service. The post offers you one of the most varied and challenging opportunities within the arts. You will manage two senior technicians. a video technician. a facilities assistant and Will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our two venues. outdoor events and outreach activities.
You Will have an HNC/degree in technical theatre or evidence of significant appropriate experience and at least three years experience in a senior technical or events management post within the arts and with significant knowledge of building and facilities management. You must be very organised as well as having highly developed people skills and a great deal of energy. self-motivation and drive.
