Talks, workshops, wandering and a whole lot
A sea of tranquillity in the hubbub of the city. the Botanic Garden is home to a wealth of flora from around the globe. Boasting a Rock Garden and ten glasshouses with plants from the temperate and tropical parts of the world, the site also has a year-round programme of events and exhibitions as well as guided tours in the summer. This month's highlights include Heralds of Spring (Sat 15 Mar), In Search of Truth and Beauty (Thu 20 Mar) and the ever-popular Plant Propagation Workshop (Sat 22 Mar).
