Lothian Gay and Lesbian SWitchboard (LGLS) is a volunteer led helpline. that offers support. information and advice to lesbians.gay men and their families every night of the week. from 7.30 to IOpm. We are the longest running gay helpline in the UK and next year will celebrate our 30 years anniversary.

This is a new post. which wrll initially be funded for 2 years. The Development Worker wrll be expected to represent LGLS at meetings with other organisations. support team development and education. provide administrative suppOrt and to publiCise Our services.

Applications are invited from lesbians and gay men who have at least 2 years experience working in the voluntary or public sectors. You will have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to communicate with people at all levels. YOU mu5t be able to demonstrate that y0u can work unsupervised and use your initiative when requrred. You will also need to have good admin skills and be computer literate.
