The Creative Links Officer post is j0intly funded by the Scottish Arts Councrl and Glasgow City Council.

Linked to the Education Improvement Sen/ice. you Will work in close collaboration wrth schools, Culture 8. Leisure Sen/ices and the Scottish Arts Councrl to devrse and Implement an authority arts strategy and create and develop a range of learning opportunities in formal and informal contexts wrth professional artist and art organisations from Scotland and abroad.

You Will require a degree or equivalent in arts related fields and/or a qualification in an education related field.

A range of experience in arts development and a knowledge of current developments in arts education in Scotland are requirements of the post.

A secondment may be COIISIdCl’Cd.

Investment in Drama

the Investment in Drama project is an exciting and innovative Social Inclusion Project to increase access for excluded adults to professional drama activity. We are currently recruiting a second drama worker to deliver workshops across the south of East Ayrshire.

Drama Worker £18,000

We are looking for a drama worker with an understanding of adult community drama. You should have at least two years experience of working on drama projects within the community and be able to demonstrate an understanding of inspiring and motivating others using drama.

You will support the work of the Drama Development Officer and will be rCSponsible for delivering the outreach aspect of the project. Group facilitation skills and understanding of the role and potential of drama in skill building are vital.

Due to the nature of this post a Driving License and vehicle are essential as there is much travel within the area particularly at evening time.

Post is self-employed temporary until July 2004
