While Lav cites the cut-up style of clubs such as Optimo as an influence, he‘s also
able to pinpoint what exactly his DJs'
disparate styles involve: ‘Well. American house is a big influence, but there‘ll also be anything from drum 8. bass to gisco, electro tq breakbeat, and a wee bit dub. All that
gind ot stufl.’
For this special opening night all six
residents will be playing: Neil Templar, Al MacDonald and Maxx of Dogma. Rob Dylan (ex-Pure) and relative newcomers B'leder and Ibrahim. And the best news is that it"s‘ all free, as an opening night enticement. Expect a top night, in other words. (David Pollock)
