He is the writer of choice of among many others. including Robert Crumb. Starring Paul Giametti and Hope Davies. the film is part documentary. part fiction a lovely companion piece to Ghost World. I Viktar Dashuk Programme 1 8. 2 A latter day god in the world of non- fiction filmmaking, this son of Belarus will actually be there at the screenings of his films. Most of his documentaries deal with the histories and testimonies of Eastern Europe. Look out particularly for Vitebsk's Case. a searing vitriolic dance into the mind of a serial killer.
