The List and the Office of Lifelong Learning at the University of Edinburgh have teamed up to offer one lucky reader the chance to win a place on a part-time film course. Starting in October, January and April courses last for nine short weekly sessions. The List has teamed up with UGC Cinemas in Glasgow and Edinburgh to give away 1005 of tickets to see the Aussie film The Hard Word before it opens to the rest of the nation on 12 September. By taking your copy of The List to either UGC box office from 4 September 2003, you will get two tickets to see the movie on Tuesday 9 September at 6.30pm.

From the producer of Chopper and Pricilla Queen of the Desert, comes this hard talking and sometimes plain dirty Aussie movie starring Rachel Griffiths and Guy Pearce. It centres on three fraternal bank robbers who, while languishing in jail, discover a profitable if not dodgy way to spend their time. But when sex and greed rear up between the good crims and the bad cops, the consequences are bizarre and fatal.
