PARAGON ENSEMBLE - SQUEEZE ME! In the latest of their imaginatively titled and programmed concerts, Paragon’s source of inspiration springs from Dundee. James Crabb, born a Dundonian, is one of the world’s greatest classical accordion players and has championed contemporary music for his instrument on a truly international basis. Receiving its first Scottish performance is Gordon McPherson’s Stramash, a march, Strathspey and Reel, which is described by the Dundee born composer as being ‘a bit messed up’. Conductor Garry Walker will no doubt keep it all in order. (Carol Main)
