84 THE LIST 13—27 Nov 2003
TECHNO GAYLE SAN Dogma at Studio 24, Fri 14 Nov

a handful of female 0.13. A few years later after I did my club circuits, only then did people start showing interest and respect.’

A night ‘ i where you could catch the likes of Carl Cox, Paul Oakenfold, LTJ Bukem and more on the same bill week in week out. In fact. San put in an all
night 45-minute back-to-back set with
Laurent Gamier on one occasion. ‘People
are still talking about those parties
organised by the Universe team,’ says San.
‘It was a time when music spoke one
language, it was 3 Ne’ gathering like no
other.’ She’s been busy ever since setting
up her own label (Equator) and now she’s
