I King Tut's, Glasgow. on Fri 28 Nov.

Slfiger Cullum'is'the man of the moment, with

éifia'major label deal, an appearance on Parkinson g and a residency at the hallowed Algonquin Room in New York all racked up this year. King Tut’s might come as a bit of a culture shock after that, but he’s used to humbler surroundings as well. His much-touted major label debut, Twentysomething, doesn’t quite confirm that he is in for the long run, but at least it is an honest representation of his vocal talents. Live, though, you get more of his tasty piano playing. (Kenny Mathieson)
